Kenya Travel Pictures

I traveled to Kenya in 1984 for a week on the way to Uganda and reached Nairobi after a stopover in Mombasa. There's a large National Park just outside Nairobi and it's incredible to see so much wildlife with the highrise-skyline of a large city on the horizon. In particular the large Gnu and Zebra populations were very impressive. Masai Mara is of course Kenya's most famous National Park and there were so many different animals to be seen there, including lions, elephants, ostriches, giraffes, the list goes on... I was shocked to find that my Kodachrome slides had changed colour in 2002.

National Wildlife Park was very impressive. There still are lots of Masai people who live the region and they'll come up to you to take their picture for a fee Elephants. These ones were agitated and making a lot of noise so we didn't venture very close
